California app company for historically black colleges and universities relocates to McKinney

A Southern California tech company assisting historically black colleges and universities moved to North Texas.

HBCU HUB has relocated from Carson to McKinney, according to the North Texas city’s economic development corporation. The company, while relying on data management, is connecting students to admissions recruiters at HBCUs.

Jonathan Swindell, co-founder and CEO, pointed out there are no HBCUs in California, and the nearest one from there is in Texas, the statement said.
