Gisèle Pelicot’s husband Dominique drugged, raped, and invited other men over to rape her from 2011 to 2020. Today, a French court convicted Dominique Pelicot and 50 other men of raping Gisèle.
She was not his only victim. He posted naked and semi-nude photographs of his daughter and daughters-in-law on the internet. He raped at least one other woman, repeatedly, and taught many men how to drug their wives.
He is a horrible person.
And yet, his wife had no idea. His family had no idea. The Pelicots’ oldest son, David, told The Guardian that his father had a special talent for throwing parties where everyone would come. David said,
