Erasmus + 2021-2027
It is an exciting opportunity not only for young students but certainly also for companies. The young person will be paid for their stay through Erasmus, and the company must involve the young student in an exciting project. A really good solution for both parties.
With a budget of some €26 billion, Erasmus+ 2021-2027 offers more mobility and cooperation opportunities than ever before.

Actual experience
As an HR leader, we have enjoyed the system many times; it really works.
Some very specific frameworks are created, which both benefit the company and the young student. The young person gets some factual experience and real tasks to be involved in, and the company can bring newly qualified expertise into the company that they might not normally have.
It also gives a nice “fresh breath in the company” and helps to raise the standard a little.
Personally, I think it is an impressive system and a fantastic opportunity, to the benefit of everyone, and it also ensures greater diversity in the companies.

A little more about Erasmus +
Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe.
It has an estimated budget of €26.2 billion. This is nearly double the funding compared to its predecessor programme (2014-2020).
The 2021-2027 programme places a strong focus on social inclusion, the green and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life.
It supports priorities and activities set out in the European Education Area, Digital Education Action Plan and the European Skills Agenda. The programme also
- supports the European Pillar of Social Rights
- implements the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027
- develops the European dimension in sport.
The Erasmus+ Programme Guide is essential to understanding Erasmus+. It provides participating organisations and individuals with a comprehensive list of opportunities supported by the programme.
For nearly 30 years, the EU has funded the Erasmus programme, which has enabled over three million European students to spend part of their studies at another higher education institution or with an organisation in Europe.
Erasmus+ brings such opportunities to all – students, staff, trainees, teachers, volunteers and more. It’s not just about Europe or Europeans either – with Erasmus+, people from all over the world can access opportunities.
The following list presents these opportunities according to various profiles.
